Laser Beam Profiling

  • BeamWatch® Integrated BeamWatch Integrated is a fully automated laser measurement system designed to integrate the measurement of critical laser beam parameters in industrial production lines. Based on BeamWatch’s patented, non-contact profiling principle, BeamWatch Integrated offers contactless and simultaneous measurement of all critical laser beam parameters in real time, while its built-in power meter delivers absolute power readings.
  • Ophir® SP1201 and SP1203, our new compact, InGaAs camera-based beam profiling systems for Eye-Safe Military, Telecom, and Medical Laser Applications
  • BeamWatch® AMthe industry’s first non-contact laser beam monitoring system for additive manufacturing. It is a lightweight, compact system designed for real-time measurement of focal shift, & measures key beam size, position, and quality parameters, including focal spot size and beam caustic.
    BeamWatch® is ISO 11146 compliant, ensuring measurement accuracy and reproducibility. Unlike conventional measurement systems that place a probe in the beam, causing potential damage and slowing the measurement process, BeamWatch measures the Rayleigh scatter of a substantial length beam all at once.
  • BeamGage® Beam Profiling Systems – This family of laser beam profiling systems performs extensive data acquisition and analysis of laser beams for accurate, ISO approved measurements. More than 55 measurements and calculations include beam size, shape, uniformity, divergence, mode content, and expected power distribution.
  • BeamSquared® is an M2 laser beam propagation system designed to help users optimize laser performance. As a robust, portable device, BeamSquared automatically measures the propagation characteristics of CW and pulsed lasers quickly, in less than one minute.

Laser Power & Energy Measurement

Centauri:

A compact, portable laser power / energy meter for precise measurements of laser performance over time. The Centauri features a large, full-color, seven-inch touch-screen for visual review of data using a wide range of graphical display formats, such as Digital with Bargraph, Pulse Chart, and Real Time Statistics Displays. Advanced math functions include Density, Scale Factor, and Normalize Against Baseline. Available in single and dual-channel versions, the Centauri is compatible with all standard Ophir thermal, photodiode, and pyroelectric sensors, including the award-winning BeamTrack power / position / size sensors.

High Power, Industrial Solutions

  • Laser beams with powers of many Kilowatts are becoming more and more common in today’s applications, industrial as well as research. In our booth we will display a range of solutions now available from Ophir for measuring up to 120KW — safely, and accurately. Need to measure your high power (<12kW) laser, without using water cooling, in an all-in-one industrial solution complete with RS232 and Profinet? Check out the Helios power meter.

Pulse Characterization Sensors – Fast Photodiode Detectors & Integrating Spheres

  • Ophir’s Integrating Spheres for Measuring Divergent Light – You’ll be able to see some integrating spheres for larger beams and a wider UV and IR spectrum, as well as smaller integrating spheres (IS-1 is a 1-inch sphere while the IS6 spheres are larger, at 6 inches). You’ll also see a range of accessories, such as a unique port plug cover which is black to simulate an open port.
  • Pulse Characterization Sensors provide the ability to see and measure the temporal characteristics of pulsed and CW laser beams. Ophir Fast Photodiode Detectors are designed to convert optical signals into electrical signals which are then measured with third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Different models cover a combined spectral range of 193 nm to 1700 nm with rise times from 25 picoseconds to 3 nanoseconds. The fast rise times are achieved by an internal reverse bias voltage circuit. Accessories are available to connect to IS6 integrating spheres or fiber optic cables.
